god gives us birthright to be HAPPY....

I, _______________________, decide to be happy right now, despite the weather, the world, or what happens to me. I absolutely know it is my God-given birthright to be happy. And as the light of God that I am, I reclaim happiness and happiness reclaims me. So be this. ...

GODBLESS yah all...
see everything with happy disposition, keep in mind that we have our lord with us:
Psalm 91
1 He who dwells in the shelter of the Most High will rest in the shadow of the Almighty. [a]
2 I will say [
b] of the LORD, "He is my refuge and my fortress, my God, in whom I trust."
3 Surely he will save you from the fowler's snare and from the deadly pestilence.
4
He will cover you with his feathers, and under his wings you will find refuge; his faithfulness will be your shield and rampart.
5 You will not fear the terror of night, nor the arrow that flies by day,
6 nor the pestilence that stalks in the darkness, nor the plague that destroys at midday.
7 A thousand may fall at your side, ten thousand at your right hand, but it will not come near you.
8 You will only observe with your eyes and see the punishment of the wicked.
9 If you make the Most High your dwelling— even the LORD, who is my refuge-
10 then no harm will befall you, no disaster will come near your tent.
11 For he will command his angels concerning you to guard you in all your ways;
12 they will lift you up in their hands, so that you will not strike your foot against a stone.
13 You will tread upon the lion and the cobra; you will trample the great lion and the serpent.
14 "
Because he loves me," says the LORD, "I will rescue him; I will protect him, for he acknowledges my name.
15 He will call upon me, and I will answer him; I will be with him in trouble, I will deliver him and honor him.
16 With long life will I satisfy him and show him my salvation."

Make it a REALITY...time will come we can be together and will have a good life together....

I WAS THINKING ON HOW WILL I MAKE ALL IN MY MIND IN REALITY. I WAS THINKING ON HOW WILL I MAKE ALL MY PLANS FOR MY FAMILY REAL. IT WAS HARD FOR ME BECAUSE I'M THE ELDEST.EVEN IF MY MOM IS NOT PUSHING ME TO GIVE ANYTHING IT WAS LIKE FEELING THAT I NEED TO...IT'S BECAUSE I LOVE THEM SO MUCH. EVER SINCE I'M A KID I ALWAYS HAVE LOT OF DESIRE THAT SOMEDAY I CAN GIVE A GOOD LIFE TO MY FAMILY. I KNOW THAT TO MAKE THOSE DESIRE REAL I SHOULD HAVE THE VERY STRONG DISPOSITION AND WILL. I KNOW THAT IT WILL TAKE A LOT OF COURAGE, PERSEVERANCE AND SACRIFICE TO REACH THE POINT THAT I WANT TO REACH. PRAYERS ULTIMATE SOURCE OF ENERGY AND THE BEST FAMILY I HAVE WHICH KEEPS ME FEEL THE RUSHING BLOOD TO MAKE ALL OF THIS POSSIBLE AND REAL.

Setting aside the fact that these are dreams and not reality; close your eyes for a moment and imagine yourself living those dreams."my mom, me and my siblings are living together at San Francisco Granada Hills California with our grandmother, aunt and cousins. I, joan, nonoy are all registered nurses at california and dani was handling our filipino restaurant business and sol managing the FASHIONISTA botique we have. Having the best/happy home near the place of my auntie voleth. Bondings with cousins and grandmother every sunday after mass. I know in God's perfect time this will be real. :)
Imagine how you would feel being free from the limitations that have held you back from pursuing those dreams. Imagine how these dreams would change your life. How these dreams can create a positive difference for you , and your loved ones. And the beautiful experiences that would come from these dreams being born, nurtured, and fulfilled.
The only thing that holds you back from living your dreams, are the limitations that you allow your mind to create. Perhaps it is fear, anxiety, etc. These are only illusions in your mind. Your life is driven by your thoughts. As you think positively, you act positively. And as you think negatively, you act negatively. Tell yourself that you are no longer going to allow these negative thoughts to drive you in life. Think your way into positive living. Practice every day being the person that you want to be, and fulfill the dreams you hold dear. The more you practice thinking positively, the more you will find you are working toward making those dreams become real, lasting, and valuable part of your life.

As you have imagined what it would be like to have these dreams come true, you are already on your way to making them come true. Just simply by having those few positive thoughts, you have made one step forward. Follow through with the next step, and keep putting one foot in front of the other. Soon you will find that your dreams become closer and closer as you take each step.
Soon you will find that your dreams, are a part of your daily life, and no longer something that you wish for. You will feel more alive than you have ever felt. Because you are finally the person who you were meant to be all along.

"What I care about is sustainable happiness, which comes from having purpose and meaning in life."

Exercise 1: Take responsibility for your own happiness.
No one is going to make you happy. You have to do it for yourself. You have to choose to let things go and to choose to find neutral ground. If you're just sitting there thinking about all of your problems, you won't be happy. Problems don't lead to happiness, believe it or not.

Exercise 2: Express gratitude for what you have.
Write down five or ten things that you are really grateful for every day. We always have things to be grateful for - our arms, our legs, our eyes, our teeth, the air that we breathe, our family, our friends, the house that we live in. The list goes on and on, so I don't want to hear any excuses.

Exercise 3: Practice random acts of kindness.
Practice five random acts of kindness a day. It can be something as simple as telling your coworker, "That outfit looks good on you." People just want to smile, they just want us to be good to them. There's actually a random acts of kindness foundation where you can learn different types of things you can do daily. If you do this every day for a month, I'm telling you your life is going to change. Mine did.

Exercise 4: Smile.
There is one crucial element to happiness, and you cannot achieve happiness without this element. If you take the corners of your mouth and you put them toward your cheek bones, are you happier? Our smile is the best happiness tool we have because it's a way to make other people happy without saying a word. When in doubt, just smile.

Because I explored the secrets behind holding onto happiness, I now have better health, better relationships and more success than I ever did before.

Tips for Finding More Meaning in Life

1. Strength

“I read somewhere… how important it is in life not necessarily to be strong… but to feel strong.” –McCandless

Try perceiving strength as tenacity rather strength as ability. One always needs something to believe in, something to fight for, something to work towards. All too often we give up on a dream, which Carolyn Myss calls an “energy abortion.” Myss goes so far to say that if you give up on a dream, it can adversely affect your health. Tenacity pumps fresh blood through the veins of the soul. If you want to be more excited to roll out of bed in the morning, challenge yourself to accomplish something and keep going for it. “Luck is tenacity of purpose.” (Elbert Hubbard)

2. Truth

“Rather than love, than money, than fame… give me truth.” -Henry David Thoreau

An important question to ask yourself: Is your happiness portable? Can you let go of your “things” and still be content; or do you depend on certain accoutrements before you can muster a smile? McCandless was out to prove that the more he could relinquish, the happier he’d be. Every step toward simplicity is a step toward truth. It doesn’t have to mean moving to Alaska, but should you wish for a more truthful life, you might try cleaning out the closet… whether it’s a closet of trinkets, emotions, or grievances. “Simplicity is the nature of great souls.” (Papa Ramadas)

3. Adventure

To always have a such a handle on things is so routine. The unknown in life is what makes it an adventure. “In reality, nothing is more dangerous to the adventurous spirit within a man than a secure future. The very basic core of a man’s living spirit is his passion for adventure. The joy of life comes from our encounters with new experiences, and hence there is no greater joy than to have an endlessly changing horizon, for each day to have a new and different sun.” (McCandless)

better in time.....

It's been the longest winter without you
I didn't know where to turn to
See somehow I can't forget you
After all that we've been through

Going coming thought I heard a knock
Who's there no one
Thinking that I deserve it
Now I realize that I really didn't know
If you didn't notice you mean everything
Quickly I'm learning to love again
All I know is I'ma be ok

[Chorus:]
Thought I couldn't live without you
It's gonna hurt when it heals too
It'll all get better in time
And even though I really love you
I'm gonna smile cause I deserve to
It'll all get better in time

I couldn't turn on the TV
Without something there to remind me
Was it all that easy
To just put aside your feelings

If I'm dreaming don't wanna laugh
Hurt my feelings but that's the path
I believe in
And I know that time will heal it
If you didn't notice boy you meant everything
Quickly I'm learning to love again
All I know is I'ma be ok

[Chorus:]
Thought I couldn't live without you
It's gonna hurt when it heals too
It'll all get better in time
And even though I really love you
I'm gonna smile cause I deserve to
It'll all get better in time

Since there's no more you and me
It's time I let you go
So I can be free
And live my life how it should be
No matter how hard it is I'll be fine without you
Yes I will

[Chorus: x2]
Thought I couldn't live without you
It's gonna hurt when it heals too
It'll all get better in time
And even though I really love you
I'm gonna smile cause I deserve to
It'll all get better in time

When You're Bummed

Exercising releases a fair amount of endorphins that can pull you out of a funk, but depression and mental exhaustion are the hardest moods to overcome—in terms of getting to the gym in the first place. "You feel less interested in everything, which can make blowing off exercise that much easier to do," says Huff.

Schedule just 15 minutes. Mentally preparing yourself to do only 15 minutes can help you through long workouts. "It takes at least that long for the endorphins to do their job," says Huff. "After 15 minutes, you'll likely feel better and go ahead and do the full workout—but you'll have the freedom to go and stretch if you want."

Don't rest. "In one sense, more rest only gives your mind even more time to dwell on whatever's upsetting you," says Butryn. Instead, lighten the amount of weight you typically lift and switch to higher reps with less time between sets—30 seconds, maximum. "Speeding up your weight workout will still give your muscles a workout, while creating enough of a distraction for your mind," Butryn says.

BLEEDING LOVE LYRICS by LEONA LEWIS:

But something happened
For the very first time with you
My heart melts into the ground
Found something true
And everyone?s looking round
Thinking I?m going crazy

But I don?t care what they say
I?m in love with you
They try to pull me away
But they don?t know the truth
My heart?s crippled by the vein
That I keep on closing
You cut me open and I

Keep bleeding
Keep, keep Bleeding Love
I keep bleeding
I keep, keep bleeding love
Keep bleeding
Keep, keep bleeding love
You cut me open

Trying hard not to hear
But they talk so loud
Their piercing sounds fill my ears
Try to fill me with doubt
Yet I know that the goal
Is to keep me from falling

But nothing?s greater
Than the rush that comes with your embrace
And in this world of loneliness
I see your face
Yet everyone around me
Thinks that I?m going crazy, maybe, maybe

But I don?t care what they say

Do I love thee?
Let Me Count The 3 Ways!

When someone says "I love you" it could mean many different things. Here are three different kinds of love.
First kind of love:
The "IF kind of love" says
, "I will love you IF you do things my way, IF you give me gifts, IF you become a good provider, IF you get a good report card at school." It is a conditional love based upon future expectations. If these conditions are not met, then like a legal contract, love is broken. This is a selfish love because it is solely based upon future expectations. It is love that must be earned. Most marriages fail because they are based upon this conditional love. Children are often heard saying, "I will be your friend" IF you let me play with your new toy; till then I hate you. Thus the IF kind of love is a fickle unstable love. This is the childish love we are all born with. It is a worldly love of natural instincts. We need to mature out of the IF kind of love!
Second kind of love:
The "because of" kind of love says, "I will love you BECAUSE you are now young and beautiful, BECAUSE I now desire you, BECAUSE you are now popular, BECAUSE you are now in good health or wealthy, BECAUSE I feel good when I am with you." This kind of love is common among teenagers because it is solely based upon the others current status. The BECAUSE OF kind of love is also doomed to failure in marriage. When someone proclaims, "I have fallen out of love" they have fallen out of the "because of" kind of love, not true love. This kind of love is not in tune with reality when it demands that things stay the same in an ever changing world. Like the If kind of love, it is unstable and fickle. It is full of doubts and fears for what tomorrow might bring.
True Love:
True love is the "in spite of kind of love". It says, "I love you IN SPITE OF your faults, IN SPITE OF being fat and ugly, IN SPITE OF the times you are selfish and inconsiderate, IN SPITE OF when you sin against me," True love is unconditional. It is the love that God loves us with. It is a love we don't naturally possess but must learn. It is an enduring love that doesn't even keep a score card. It will always be there tomorrow regardless of what we have done today. This is the kind of love that 50th "golden" anniversaries are made of. Romans 5:6-8 says, "For one will hardly die for a righteous man; though perhaps for the very good man someone would dare even to die. But God demonstrates His own love toward us, in that while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us." Notice the contrast between conditional and unconditional love in this verse. Christ didn't die for us BECAUSE we were very good and worth dying for. Rather He died for us in SPITE OF the fact we were worthless sinners. Oh "to know the love of Christ which surpasses comprehension," Ephesians 3:19.
Which kind of love do you love others with?

pssst....beware...5 Causes of Rapid Aging

5 Causes of Rapid Aging

5 Causes of Rapid Aging

Most people are aware that negative lifestyle habits like smoking and excessive alcohol can lead to rapid aging. But what about the repeated stress and poor nutrition that are so often a part of a high-pressure style of living today? Read on to see what could be causing rapid aging in your life.
1. Poor Diet
What you eat probably affects your health more than anything else you do. When you eat a poor diet—fatty, processed, or fried foods and simple sugars—you invite rapid aging by burdening your body with chemical additives and trans-fats and depriving your body of essential nutrients. On the other hand, when you eat the life-giving foods, you prevent disease and improve organ functioning. In general, your diet should consist of a wide array of colors and balance of organic sources of lean protein, complex carbohydrates, whole grains, legumes, nuts, fruits, and vegetables. Numerous studies show that the different pigments in the skins of fruits and vegetables are powerful antioxidants that are crucial for maintaining health, preventing cancer, and protecting against environmental toxins.
Avoid fatty foods, processed or fried foods. Keep dairy to a minimum because most dairy products are high in saturated fat. Take candy, sugar, soda, and all simple sugars out of your diet. Excess sugar gets stored as fat in your body, which spells in weight gain—a sure path to cardiovascular disease, hypertension, and diabetes. You truly are what you eat, so eat well!
2. Unhappiness
Unhappiness does not only depress your mood, it also negatively affects your health. In fact, depressed, unhappy people are twice as likely to develop heart disease. And it has been confirmed that personality profile Type C—people that tend towards melancholy, depression, and excessive worry—are prone to develop cancer. Do not underestimate the power of your mind. Your experience is determined by the energy you embody, and in the end, it is your choice to have a negative perception or a positive attitude in reaction to life's breakdowns.
Years ago, I had the pleasure of working with the late Norman Cousins. His research showed that the mind has a powerful influence on many physiological functions, including the immune system. He found that an increase in immune killer cells that attack cancer occurred in cancer patients who experienced 30 minutes of deep belly laughter every day for twelve weeks. Laughter also increases the release of endorphins, compounds that give you a sense of well-being. Undoubtedly, joyful people liver longer and healthier lives.
3. Lack of Exercise
I have never met a healthy person or centenarian that lived a physically inactive life. Exercise is essential for a healthy metabolism, proper energy circulation, and the expelling of cellular wastes. Being overweight and inactive is a surefire path to rapid aging and a host of diseases. Cardiovascular exercise is the key to speeding up your metabolism, burning excess calories, and fighting body fat. Brisk walking, hiking, jogging, swimming, bicycling, stair climbing-the options are endless for cardio health! Exercise for 30 minutes at 60-80% of your MHR (You can find this number by subtracting your age from 220.) Regular exercise is also the key to preventing non-insulin-dependent diabetes, which is the fastest growing disease in industrialized countries throughout the world. You can stave off rapid aging to your muscles, joints, and tendons by practicing exercises that extend your range of motion; some options include tai chi, qigong and yoga. Check out simple tai chi moves that you can learn easily in my book, Harmony Tai Chi by clicking here. Also, moderate load-bearing exercises are essential for bone density and muscle strength. Don't forget when you are exercising to always warm up and cool down properly to avoid injury.
4. Stress
Stress is a huge byproduct of our busy lives and it takes a tremendous toll on our health. Our body's "survival mode" gets turned on all too often these days. When you are experiencing stress, your body is programmed to go into fight-or-flight mode, a state that requires a lot of energy. Adrenaline is released from the adrenal gland, and it tells the body to convert stored sugar from the liver to glucose because the energy needs of the body increase substantially during the supposed fight-or-flight scenario.
Unfortnately, this scenario almost never plays out and the excess blood sugar that never got used ends up being stored as fat—inevitably resulting in weight gain. What's more, all of this stress continually depletes your body of its energy resources until it crumples under the overload, leading to adrenal exhaustion, a nervous breakdown, or a broken-down immune system. To stay stress-free, remember to breathe deeply all day. And give yourself a break! You are a human, not a machine. Try taking a 15-minute powernap during your lunch break. If you only have 5 minutes to spare, just closing your eyes will release tension. Better still, consider taking up meditation, a great way to dissolve stress. To learn more about how to use meditation to decrease stress, click here.
5. Lack of Sleep
There's no way around it: the average adult needs seven to eight hours of quality sleep every night to maintain health. Consider that your immune system drops by an average of 60% after just three nights of poor sleep. Without sufficient "recovery time" each night, you will run your body down and wear out your life force, paving the way for disharmony and disease. I hope you find the ways to live long and live strong! I invite you to visit often and share your own personal health and longevity tips with me. May you live long, live strong, and live happy!-Dr. Mao

RAKIE:

Taurus About Your Sign...
The Taurean's characteristics are solidity, practicality, extreme determination and strength of will - no one will ever drive them, but they will willingly and loyally follow a leader they trust. They are stable, balanced, conservative good, law-abiding citizens and lovers of peace, possessing all the best qualities of the bourgeoisie. As they have a sense of material values and physical possessions, respect for property and a horror of falling into debt, they will do everything in their power to maintain the security of the status quo and be somewhat hostile to change.
Mentally, they are keen-witted and practical more often than intellectual, but apt to become fixed in their opinions through their preference for following accepted and reliable patterns of experience. Their character is generally dependable, steadfast, prudent, just, firm and unshaken in the face of difficulties. Their vices arise from their virtues, going to extremes on occasion, such as sometimes being too slavish to the conventions they admire. On rare occasions a Taurean may be obstinately and exasperatingly self-righteous, unoriginal, rigid, ultraconservative, argumentative, querulous bores, stuck in a self-centered rut. They may develop a brooding resentment through nursing a series of injuries received and, whether their characters are positive or negative, they need someone to stroke their egos with a frequent, "Well Done!" Most Taureans are not this extreme though.
They are faithful and generous friends with a great capacity for affection, but rarely make friends with anyone outside their social rank, to which they are ordinarily excessively faithful. In the main, they are gentle, even tempered, good natured, modest and slow to anger, disliking quarreling and avoiding ill-feeling. If they are provoked, however, they can explode into violent outbursts of ferocious anger in which they seem to lose all self-control. Equally unexpected are their occasional sallies into humor and exhibitions of fun.
Although their physical appearance may belie it, they have a strong aesthetic taste, enjoying art, for which they may have a talent, beauty (recoiling from anything sordid or ugly) and music. They may have a strong, sometimes unconventional, religious faith. Allied to their taste for all things beautiful is a love for the good things of life pleasure, comfort, luxury and good food and wine and they may have to resist the temptation to over indulgence, leading to drunkenness, gross sensuality, and covetousness.
In their work, Taureans are industrious and good craftspeople, and are not afraid of getting their hands dirty. They are reliable, practical, methodical and ambitious, within a framework of obedience to superiors. They are at their best in routine positions of trust and responsibility, where there is little need of urgency and even less risk of change, and a pension at the end. Yet they are creative and good founders of enterprises where the rewards of their productiveness come from their own work and not that of others They can flourish in many different trades and professions: banking, architecture, building, almost any form of bureaucracy, auctioneering, farming, medicine, chemistry, industry Taureans make good managers and foremen surveying, insurance, education and, perhaps surprisingly, music and sculpture. They make an ideal trustee or guardian, and can attain eminence as a chef. Some Taureans are gifted enough in singing to become opera stars or to excel in more popular types of music.
They are more than averagely amorous and sensually self-conscious, but sexually straightforward and not given to experiment. They make constant, faithful, home loving spouses and thoughtful, kindly parents, demanding too much of neither their spouses nor children. They can be over possessive and may sometimes play the game of engineering family roles for the pleasure of making up the quarrel. If anyone offends their amour proper they can be a determined enemy, though magnanimous in forgiveness if their opponent makes an effort to meet them halfway.
No other sign in the zodiac is closer to earth then Taurus. The main objective in leading a Taurean life is primarily (though not entirely) to maintain stability and physical concerns. Your inner spiritual sense longs for earthly harmony and wholesomeness. When you fully understand this, and work toward this end, you will no longer need to blindly reassure yourself with external possessions and comforts. A realization that finding this inner peace will cause all of the above mentioned positive things will overtake you and your life will be very full.
Ultimately the Taurean needs to discover their truest, deepest and highest values. When they know what is truly valuable, they are no longer chained to people and to things that have to do with lesser values. The greatest indication of value to a Taurean is beauty, which cannot be owned, only appreciated.

ahuh!!!!ma first reveal..

This is the first blog of mine. Still at office waiting for my dear friend. My shift ends at 7 am and at this time I'm really sleepy and tired. Yesterday I was very dissapointed with some issues i have in my life. It's like asking for appreciation or let me say I just want to feel a bit of importance from significant people in my life. At times I feel so fed up but it was still re energized by the love I have for my siblings and for my family.Well to give a brief background it's because of my brother's academic condition. For you to imagined at my age i feel like all the burden and responsibilities are vested on me. My mother was working far from us and my dad just passed away last March 7, 2008. The reason why I'm the one who look into my siblings and serve as their guardian. For several years our dad didnt spend his time with us because my parents was separated since I'm in grade school but that was a very good training ground for me to be a strong and determined person. hmmmmm....blog to release some of the tension inside. Well it do help, it's a way to manage my stress ohut of all the responsibilities that I need to attend to. Let's keep in mind that there is no rain that will not stop rom pouring. It's like stuggles in life there is no struggle that wil not be stabilized and beside Lord God will not give us a problem that we will not surpass. He was so merciful that at some verse in the bible it says that Father God will not give us snake when we asked for bread..
